Great location and beautiful riverside views. The food was delicious, we also ordered fish & chips where the fish portion was huge and steak. The mash was excellent. In all honesty I have to commend the staff for their hospitality and would definitely recommend coming here. The views from most areas at the boathouse are amazing. There is a car park a few minutes walk away. I will be coming here again!

Beautiful & stunning restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious and the right amount on the plate. We were given the best table facing the river . Allergies were taken care of, deserve 10/10 for that..thank you Emily for ur attentive service. Definitely visiting again

A discreet sanctuary, nestled by the River Thames, where time seems to have politely stopped at the door. On the terrace, a perfectly brewed coffee greeted me like an old friend – rich, rounded, and warm, the ideal balance after a long drive, as if answering all the unspoken questions of the road. Around me, swans and ducks floated leisurely, tracing soft circles on the water, as if guarding the stillness of the place. In the background, classical music – Chopin, perhaps? – touched my thoughts gently, like a vintage perfume. Each note drew me deeper into a Victorian painting where nature, tranquillity, and elegance hold hands. Excellent restaurant that I never even knew existed whilst living in Reading. Service was excellent and bested only by the food. Wait staff were also excellent.

We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was quite busy. The gentleman at the front (I believe his name was Michael) was warm and welcoming, making sure we had a table reserved for the next hour. As we waited, we enjoyed our drinks and the stunning view. The cocktails were flavorful, with a great variety of options. Now, onto the meal... it was absolutely exceptional! The steak was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. I was so impressed that I almost ordered more. I can confidently say this was the best dining experience I've had. A big thank you to the staff, management, and chef for their excellent work. I will definitely be back and will happily recommend this place to others!

James was extremely helpful and patient as we were not the easiest to deal with. Constantly asked if we needed anything was very consistent , friendly and provided an excellent customer service. Most definitely made our first time here memorable
